Leadership Basecamp Guides
David Hutchings and Chris Cohoon first met in 2009 on the island of Okinawa, Japan, where they ministered to US military families. They quickly became lifelong friends, climbing partners, co-adventurers, and leadership guides. David and Chris are certificated GiANT Worldwide Guides fighting for the highest possible good of anyone they can.
David spends much of his free taking his family to the mountains. Not only is he an avid rock climber and mountaineer, David is a certified Single Pitch Rock Climbing Instructor certified by the American Mountain Guide Association
Chris Cohoon originally discovered the positive impact of leadership while serving in the U.S. Air Force, and has since created leadership programs across 3 continents. He holds a M.A. in Art + Design Education form Rhode Island School of Design, where he wrote his thesis on the role of mentoring in arts-based community leadership development. Through his unique perspective as a fine artist and designer, Chris gained a reputation for being a creative thinker, and problem-solver.
